“Audible Silence” represents a bringing of new life into the meaning of the word “faith”. The words faith and religion are so entangled in our society but this book aims to portray that it does not need to be like that. By using long exposures and artificial light to photograph trees at night I revealed something that both exists and does not exist at the same time. This repaints the way we think about our faith and our place in the world. It asks questions of “man added to nature” and recontextualises the way in which we see our faith, it is something that is both there and not there at the same time.
